So the crazy idea of getting young people to learn and love the game of bridge is getting interesting.
The G.C.V.I. card club has reconvened after the semester turnaround and a few surprises from mother nature. How many times has a city school been closed for weather in the past? Not very many. Lunchtime on Tuesdays has restarted and has new members.
At John F. Ross the Student Senate has agreed to advertise a bridge club starting on March 28th. I have a former colleague who has agreed to be the staff sponsor. The goal of intramurals in the next year or so is beginning to take shape.
